Review of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2: HP Gaming with a Reliable Camera

Zenfone Max Pro, this smartphone is referred to as mainstream gaming class. Immediately we start the review.

Design

One of the design trends in cellphones today is the rear which can provide different reflections of light, depending on the user's point of view. Asus also applies this design to the back of the Zenfone Max Pro M2.
But Asus chose to use plastic material rather than glass like most cellphones today. although it becomes less interesting, the positive side of the fingerprint that is left behind is not very visible.

At the front, the bezel is not the thinnest, but this device feels small for a 6.3 inch layer. This was helped by the presence of the notch so that the screen-to-boy ratio could reach 90%.

On the side, there are metal parts that overlay it. In addition, the angle of the phone is also curved so that it is comfortable to hold for a long time even without additional casing, and is not slippery.

Performance

Consisting of several variants, detikINET happens to get a 4 GB version of Zenfone Max Pro M2 RAM and 64 GB ROM. Supported with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, there are no significant obstacles in running applications, both singly and in two at a time.

On the screen, not too many features are presented. Besides there is no setting to remove the notch, the night mode of this screen is still considered too bright when used in a dim light room.

The lack of settings is reasonable considering the Zenfone Max Pro M2 adopts Stock Android. Fortunately, there is a bonus of 100 GB of storage on Google Drive as solace.

Even so, another story when talking about the quality of the screen is Full HD +. This screen can spoil the eyes, plus can watch videos on YouTube at 1080p resolution.

The same thing was also felt in the speaker. The sound produced is loud and clear. There are also reminders if the user mounts the volume too high when wearing headphones or earphones.

Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a variety of options in unlocking it, ranging from fingerprint scanners to faces. Both have a fairly fast response. In fact, for face recognition, sometimes the cellphone is open even though the face has not turned fully to the screen.

However, when it is activated, the cellphone is long enough to respond to the user's face. Furthermore, this smartphone cannot be opened using photos when the face recognition feature is activated.

For those who want a little nostalgia, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 screen can also be opened and closed by tapping the screen twice. This feature had become a trend before becoming obsolete through the presence of fingerprint scanners, face recognition, and in-display fingerprint scanners.

It feels incomplete if the Zenfone Max Pro M2 does not pass the test from the benchmark platform. When using AnTuTu, this phone almost occupies the top 50 with the highest benchmark value on the platform.
